"Lyndon B. Johnson and Yuki.." I have the record..The name of the song is "Dogs have always been my friends" which Lyndon recorded with "Yuki" the dog that Lucy found by the side of the road. Yuki was just a Heinz 57 little cute mutt..The beagles were "Him" & "Her" they did not record. It was 1970's, A.C.R.,Inc. P.O. 4248, Austin, Texas 78765 and the record has a label " Hill Country". On the Flip side is: Stories By Lyndon B. Johnson: "Tying Cans on Judge Martin's Dogs' Tails" "Why the President of Mexico Didn't Catch Any Fish" and " Lyndon Sure Has Gone Up in the World" I think I bought the record from the gift shop at the LBJ Ranch which is in Stonewall,Texas between Johnson City and Fredericksburg,Texas.( about 40miles from here). I had a good friend that worked for the ranch which had a visitor's center..At that time I did a lot of oil paintings and one she especially liked was a scene of a desert near Apple Valley, California..It was an old General Store with an old weather beaten car beside it and a spare tire leaning on an electric pole. I agreed to let her show the painting for 6 months which was the usual contract time..After 6 months, I received a handwritten memo from LBJ asking if I would leave it another 6 months because it was different and he liked it. It was written and signed in ink " Love, Lyndon"..Well, someone took the little letter but I do still have the record. I have never seen another copy of this record, but I don't think it was ever on the top 10 charts..(smile) It has not been played very much, only a time or two..therefore, it is in mint condition.. I wonder if your reader's have heard or heard of the record before??? How many got the answer of which President right? If you did get it right, You may now have your cookie. Happy Y2K from the Texas Hill Country,
